Articles of Incorporation. The articles of incorporation of a cooperative shall recite that they are executed pursuant to this Decree and shall state: (a) the name of the cooperative; (b) the address of its principal office; (c) the names and addresses of the incorporators; and (d) the names and addresses of its original directors, who shall constitute the board until the first election of the board by the members; and may contain any other provisions not inconsistent with this Decree that are deemed necessary or advisable for the conduct of its business. Such articles shall be signed by each incorporator and acknowledged by at least two of the incorporators (or on their behalf, if they are cooperatives).
It shall not be necessary to recite in the articles of incorporation the purpose for which the cooperative is organized or any of its corporate powers.
