No Demotion or Diminution of Salary. - Nothing in this Act shall be construed to demote a prosecutor or to diminish his salary. In the event that all the incumbent prosecutors are not accommodated by the number of position items allocated, the excess incumbents shall continue in the service until they are accommodated, transferred or separated.
