Suspension or Removal of the Board Members. The President of the Philippines, upon the recommendation of the Commission after conducting an administrative investigation and observance of due process, may suspend or remove any member of the Board on any of the following grounds:
a. Gross neglect, incompetence or dishonesty in the discharge of his/her duty;
b. Manipulation or rigging of the licensure examination results, disclosure of examination questions and related confidential information prior to the conduct of the examination, or tampering of the grades;
c. Final judgment or conviction*of any criminal offense; or
d. Unprofessional or unethical conduct.
In the conduct of the investigation, the Commission shall be guided by Section 7(s) of Republic Act No. 8981, otherwise know as the PRC Modernization Act of2000, and the applicable provisions of the New Rules of Court.
