August 11 of every year is declared a special working holiday in the City of Ilagan, Province of Isabela in commemoration of its Charter Day Anniversary to be known as Ilagan City Charter Day. When the holiday fells on a Saturday or a Sunday, the special working day shall be observed on the Monday that follows.
