Conversion.- The Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (MHARSRTTH) in the Province of Misamis Occidental is hereby converted into a medical center to be known as the Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center, hereinafter referred to as the MHARSMC, and shall be under the supervision of the Department of Health (DOH).
For this purpose, the bed capacity of the MHARSMC is hereby increased from one hundred fifty (150) to five hundred (500) beds. The increase in bed capacity shall be implemented for a period of not more than four (4) years from the approval of this Act.
