Minimum Requirements for the Issuance of Credit Cards. - Before issuing credit cards, credit card issuers must conduct know-your-client (KYC) procedures and exercise proper diligence in ascertaining that applicants possess good credit standing and are financially capable of fulfilling their credit commitments.
