Handling of Pharmaceutical Products by Persons Other Than a Pharmacist. - For the purpose of this section, persons handling pharmaceutical products, other than the pharmacist, which shall include pharmacy owners who are non-pharmacists, medical representatives or professional service representatives, pharmacy support personnel, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy aides, persons who assist pharmacists in any part of a pharmacy operation, or any other person performing functions involved in the handling of pharmaceutical products, shall be duly certified by appropriate government agencies after undergoing an accredited training program.

No person, except pharmacy graduates, shall be allowed to render such services without undergoing a comprehensive standardized training program: Provided, That the job description is defined in the implementing rules and regulations of this Act.
