Vacancy in the Office of the President. - In case of vacancy by reason of death, transfer, resignation, removal for cause or incapacity of the incumbent President to perform the functions of the office, the CHED Chairperson or the CHED Commissioner, as Chairperson of the Board, shall, within fifteen (15) days from the occurrence of such vacancy, designate an Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for the Office of the President (OP), subject to confirmation by the Board.
