November 28 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking day in the Municipality of Santa Margarita, Province of Samar, in commemoration of its founding anniversary, to be known as the "Santa Margarita Founding Day". When the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the special nonworking day shall be observed on the Monday that follows.
