The PUP shall admit students to its Bansud Campus who may avail of graduate, undergraduate and short-term technical-vocational courses within the Universitys areas of specialization and according to its capabilities as the Board of Regents (BOR) may deem necessary to carry out the Universitys objectives, particularly to respond to the needs of the province and the rest of the Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (MIMAROPA) Region.
The PUP is also mandated to undertake research and extension services in the Bansud Campus, and to provide progressive leadership in these areas, including the offering of graduate degrees under the PUP Open University System.
