Government Energy Efficiency Projects. -Government agencies and LGUs are authorized to enter into different financial arrangements for energy efficiency projects following the procedures laid down in any of the following measures: Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act"; Republic Act No. 6957, otherwise known as "An Act Authorizing the Financing, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Infrastructure Projects by the Private Sector, and For Other Purposes", as amended by Republic Act No. 7718; Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the "Local Government Code of 1991"; the 2013 NEDA Joint Venture Guidelines, as may be amended in the future; the applicable LGU charter; related laws, rules, regulations; and other modalities.
