Deputy Executive Director of the NAS System -There shall be a Deputy Executive Director who shall assist the Executive Director. In the absence of the Executive Director, the Deputy Executive Director shall assume the administrative and supervisory functions of the Executive Director.
The Deputy Executive Director, whose compensation shall be fixed by the Board, shall be appointed by the Chairperson of the Board, subject to the approval of the members of the Board and to existing Compensation and Position Classification System.
