Primary Text
General Mandate. -The BASSU shall primarily provide advance education, higher technological and professional vocational instruction and training in arts and sciences, education, agriculture and industrial fields, management, criminology, maritime, medical education, legal education, nontraditional courses and other relevant fields of study, as well as short-term technical or vocational courses. It shall also undertake research and extension services and production activities, in support of the socioeconomic development of the Province of Basilan and Region IX.
