Applicability of Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, as Amended. In cases where the offender is a child, the prosecution of the offense shall be in accordance with Republic Act No. 9344,otherwise known as the "Juvenile Justice and Wlefare Act of 2006,"as amended, and the child shall be accorded the appropriate treatment and services under the said law:Provided, That in cases of self-generated CSAMs, the child producing the sexualized materials shall be considered as a victim and not as an offender. The child victim shall be accorded the necessary treatment and services under thisActand in existing laws.
