Prescription of Crimes/Offenses. - The crimes/offenses punishable under this act shall prescribe in ten (10) years. However, the right of the State to recover properties unlawfully acquired by the person involved, nominees, or transferees in embezzlement and misappropriation of the fund. shall not be barred by prescription, laches, or estoppel.
