Importation of Salt. - No person shall import salt without first securing a permit from the following agencies:
(a) DA-BFAR and DOH-FDA for food grade salt; and
(b) DA-BFAR for non-food grade salt.
The DOH-FDA and DA-BFAR are hereby mandated to harmonize and streamline their processes.
