Emerging and Evolving Technologies. - The DND shall develop programs and projects on emerging and evolving technologies necessary for national defense and security wherever located which shall include, but not be limited to, artificial intelligence, advanced defense equipment, military robotics and autonomous systems, internet of military things, cyber warfare, immersive technologies, additive manufacturing, big data and analytics, independent military 5G connectivity, and blockchain.
