Duration of the EBET Program. - The duration of an EBET Program shall be based on the complexity of the competencies to be learned based on the Training Plan, but shall in no case exceed three (3) years: Provided, That any trainee who receives training for a period exceeding three (3) years or in excess of the prescribed period, as may be determined by the TESDA, shall be a regular employee of the enterprise concerned.
In setting the duration of an EBET Program, the TESDA, in consultation with industry stakeholders, shall consider the competency standards, training methodology, sequencing of modules, assessment and/or certification arrangements, and other relevant factors.
