Powers and Responsibilities of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). - In addition to its functions under Executive Order No. 128, otherwise known as the "Reorganization Act of the National Science and Technology Authority", the DOST shall undertake scientific and technological research and development for the improvement of new technologies in the PDNGI.
