Powers and Responsibilities of the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI). - Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11572, otherwise known as the "Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute Act", the PERPI shall conduct research and development on renewable gas technologies, including production, storage, and distribution, with support from the DOST and Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC).
