Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on ECCD. - A Joint Congressional Oversight Committee (JCOC) is hereby created to oversee, monitor, and evaluate the implementation and impact of this Act.
The JCOC shall be composed of six (6) members each from the Senate and the House of Representatives and shall include the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Basic Education and the Chairperson of the House Committee on Basic Education and Culture, as Co-Chairpersons; the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Local Government and the Chairperson of the House Committee on Local Government; the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality and the Chairperson of the House Committee on the Welfare of Children; the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical, and Vocational Education and the Chairperson of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education; the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance and the Chairperson of the House Committee on Appropriations, and one (1) member each from the Minority of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
