Registration Before Board of Inspectors and Preparation of Current List of Voters Before Any Special Election. - The board of election inspectors shall meet in the polling place on the second Saturday following the date of the proclamation calling a special election for the purpose of registering new voters in the province, city, municipality or municipal district concerned, as well as, for the preparation of the current list of voters for that particular special election. At this meeting the board shall transfer the names of the voters appearing in the existing precinct book of voters and shall include the new qualified electors applying for registration. At this meeting, the board of inspectors shall also prepare and certify eight copies of the current list as provided in the next preceding section.
