Disqualification on Account of Violation of Certain Provisions of this Code. - Any candidate who, in an action or protest in which he is a party, is declared by final decision of a competent court or tribunal guilty (a) of having committed acts of terrorism to enhance his candidacy, (b) of having spent in his election campaign an amount in excess of that allowed by this Code, or (c) of having solicited, received or made any contribution prohibited under sections thirty-six, thirty-seven, thirty-nine, forty, and fifty-five; or (d) of having violated any one of sections forty-seven, forty-eight, forty-nine, fifty-three, fifty-six, fifty-eight, fifty-nine, seventy-one, and eighty-one shall be disqualified from continuing as a candidate, or if he has been elected, from holding the office.
