Candidates for the Same Office Bearing the Same Name and Surname. - When there are two or more candidates for an office with the same name and surname, each upon being made aware of such fact, shall state his paternal and maternal surname with the exception of the one who last held office, which candidate may continue to use the name and the surname stated in his certificate of candidacy when he was elected.
