Prohibition Regarding Transportation, Food and Drinks. - It is unlawful for any candidate, political party or non-political organization, voter or any other person to give or accept, free of charge, directly or indirectly, transportation, food, or drinks during a public meeting in favor of any or several candidates and during the three hours before and after such meeting, or on the day of registration before the board of inspectors, on the day preceding the election and on the day of the election; or to give or contribute, directly or indirectly, money or things of value for such purposes.
