Application of the Islamic Shari'a. - The Monetary Board of the Central Bank of the Philippines shall formulate the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this Charter for the purpose of providing adequate credit facilities primarily to the people of the Autonomous Region, and supervise the operation of the Islamic Bank in accordance with the universal principle of the Islamic Shari'a.
