Penalties for Violation. - Any director, officer, employee, auditor, or agent of the Islamic Bank who violates or permits the violation of any provision of this Act shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) or an imprisonment of not more than five (5) years, or both at the discretion of the court.
