Nomination and Selection of Official Candidates. - No political convention or meeting for the nomination or selection of the official candidates of any political party or organization or political groups or coalition thereof shall be held earlier than the following periods:
(a) For President, Vice-President and Senators, one hundred sixty-five (165) days before the day of the election; and
(b) For Members of the House of Representatives and elective provincial, city or municipal officials, seventy-five (75) days before the day of the election.
