The City of Pasig.- The Municipality of Pasig shall be converted into a highly urbanized city to be known as the City of Pasig, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present territory of the Municipality of Pasig in metropolitan area over which it has jurisdiction, bounded on the north by the Municipality of Marikina; on the east by the Municipality of Cainta; on the southeast by the municipalities of Taytay and Cainta; on the south by the municipalities of Taguig and Pateros; on the southwest by the municipalities of Pateros, Makati and the City of Mandaluyong and on the northwest by Marikina River and beyond Quezon City.

The foregoing provision shall be without prejudice to the resolution by the appropriate agency or forum of existing boundary disputes or cases involving questions of territorial jurisdiction between the City of Pasig and the adjoining local government units.
