It shall be a continuing policy of the University to accept the affiliation and/or integration within its operation of any existing national school whose program can contribute largely and effectively to the attainment of its objectives: Provided, however, That in case of integration, the chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education is hereby authorized to determine and approve the specific existing national schools that are to be integrated as part of the University. In this particular case, it is understood that a funds, properties, and other assets as well as obligations of the integrated schools shall be transferred to the University.
