The present Palawan National Agricultural College in the Municipality of Aborlan, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a state polytechnic college to be known as the State Polytechnic College of Palawan which will offer not only four-year secondary agricultural course, four-year secondary home economics, one-year farm mechanics, and other special courses but also two-year courses leading to the title of associate in agriculture and/or agricultural education and courses leading to the degrees of bachelor of science in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, bachelor of science in home economics, bachelor of science in agricultural education, master of science (with majors in the different agricultural sciences), and master of agricultural education.

It shall also offer courses in arts, sciences and technology, and other related courses as the board of trustees of the state college may deem necessary to carry out its objectives: Provided, That the courses to be offered are consistent with the goals for local, regional and national development.
