Maximum Tenure-in-Grade. - Secretary of National Defense shall determine the maximum tenure-in-grade of enlisted personnel in the ranks of Master Sergeant/Chief Petty Officer, Senior Master Sergeant/Senior Chief Petty Officer, and Chief Master Sergeant/Master Chief Officer.
