Legislative District. Being highly-urbanized, the City of Marikina shall have its own legislative district with the first representative to be elected in the next national elections after the passage of this Act. Until such time, the City of Marikina shall continue to be represented by the incumbent representative in the House of Representatives of the Congress of the Philippines.
