The City of Victorias. The Municipality of Victorias in the Province of Negros Occidental is hereby converted into a component city to be known as the City of Victorias, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise of the present territory of the Municipality of Victorias, Negros Occidental. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Victorias, more particularly described as follows: A parcel of land situated in the Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros, Philippines; bounded on the northeast along line of MBM.3, MBM.2, MBM.1, MBM.14 by the Municipality of Manapla. MBM.14 to Silay, Cadiz intersection by the Municipality of Cadiz and on the south and southwest by the Municipality of Cadiz and on the south and southwest by the Municipality of E.B.
Magalona traversing Quinaruyan River. MBM.11 to MBM.4 by the Municipality of E.B. Magalona on the west along line MBM.4 to MBM.5 traversing Malogo River, containing an area of 133.92 sq. kms., more or less.
The foregoing provisions shall be without prejudice to the award or resolution by the appropriate agency or forum of whatever claim that may be due to the City, or a boundary dispute that may arise or a case evolving questions of territorial jurisdiction between the City of Victorias and any adjoining local government units.
