Appropriation. – The Museum shall continue to submit and receive its annual budget from the general appropriations of the National Government. For this purpose, the Secretary shall submit to Congress annually at the beginning of each regular session thereof a detailed statement of the expenditures of the preceding fiscal year, under appropriations for the "National Museum."
The Museum is authorized to include in its estimate of appropriations such sums as may be necessary for the preservation of its art collection.
