Component of the Province and Congressional District. The City shall be a component of the Province of Sorsogon and shall remain part of the First Congressional District of the province. As such, the qualified and registered voters of the City shall continue to vote for elective provincial officials and for the representative in the First Congressional District of Sorsogon.
