Local Government Units.- Local government units (LGUs) shall participate in the management of the Mt. Kitanglad Range through representation in the PAMB as provided under Section 7(A). The LGU retains its ordinance-making powers over the territory covered under this Act but with due consideration to the protected area management objectives. If a conflict between the LGU and the protected area management objectives remains unresolved within the PAMB, it shall be resolved through mediation.
