The City of Talisay. - The Municipality of Talisay shall be converted into a component city to be known as the City of Talisay, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present territory of the Municipality of Talisay, Cebu Province. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Talisay, as follows:

Bounded on the West by the Municipality of Minglanilla along lines 1 to 15.

Bounded on the North East by the City of Toledo and Cebu City along lines 18 to 31.

Bounded on the South by Bohol Strait along lines 31 to the point of beginning.

Beginning from BLLM No. of Talisay - Minglanilla Estate (FLR-133) S 82-44 W, 3777.44 meters to point 1, thence.

hence from point 31 following the course of Bohol Strait in southwest direction, to point of beginning, containing an area of three thousand nine hundred eighty-seven hectares (3,987 has.) based on the evaluation of the coordinates of Talisay-Minglanilla Estate (FLR-133).

The boundary reference used for the City of Talisay are the following: Points 1 to 18 were equivalent to MBM No. 1 to MBM No. 18; Point 19 equivalents to Mon. "U"; Points 20 to 31 were equivalent to MBM No. 19 to MBM No. 30.

The foregoing provision shall be without prejudice to the resolution by the appropriate agency or forum of existing boundary disputes or cases involving questions of territorial jurisdiction between the City of Talisay and the adjoining local government units.
