The City of Balanga.- The Municipality of Balanga shall be converted into a component city to be known as the City of Balanga, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present territory of the Municipality of Balanga, Bataan Province. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Balanga, as follows:

Bounded on the South-East along lines 1 to 9 by the Municipality of Pilar;

Bounded on the South-West along lines 9 to 14 by the Municipality of Bagac;

Bounded on the North along lines 14 to 20 by the Municipality of Abucay;

Bounded on the North-East along lines 20 to the point of beginning by Manila Bay.

Containing an area of eleven thousand one hundred sixty-three hectares (11,163 has.) including the seven thousand eight hundred forty-nine hectares (7,849 has.) cadastrally surveyed under Cad 101, based on our evaluation of the map of Bataan vis-a-vis the NAMRIA Administrative Map of the Province of Bataan, and in accordance with the Bataan Development Council Resolution No. 4, Series of 1999.

The foregoing provision shall be without prejudice to the resolution by the appropriate agency or forum of existing boundary disputes or cases involving questions of territorial jurisdiction between the City of Balanga and the adjoining local government units.
