The City Register of Deeds. -

(a)The city register of deeds shall be the head of the city registry of deeds office. He must be a citizen of the Philippines, a resident of the City of Malabon, of good moral character, a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and must have practiced his profession for at least five (5) years immediately preceeding the date of his appointment.

(b)The city register of deeds shall receive such compensation, emoluments and allowances as maybe determined by law.

(c)The city register of deeds shall take charge of the registry of deeds office and shall perform such duties and functions, and exercise such other powers as may be provided by law.
