The City of Gapan. - The Municipality of Gapan shall be converted into a component city to be known as the City of Gapan, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present jurisdiction of the Municipality of Gapan, Nueva Ecija Province. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Gapan, as follows:

Bounded on the SW, along lines 1 to 9 by the Municipality of San Isidro; on the NW, along lines 9 to 11, following the course of Peñaranda River, and beyond the Municipality of San Leonardo; on the North, along lines 11 to 18 by the Municipality of Peñaranda; on the NE, along lines 18 to 21 by Pls-593, Gen. Tiñio Public Land Subdivision; on the South, along lines 21 to 23 by the Municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan, along lines 23 to 24 by the Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan along lines 24 to 25 by Sapang Kinamatayang Kabayo and beyond the Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan, and along lines 25 to 29 by the Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan; on the SW, along lines 29 to point of beginning by the Municipality of San Isidro.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on plan being S.06 deg. 43'W, 9008.39 m from BLLM No. 1, Gapan Cadastre; thence,

The foregoing provision shall be without prejudice to the resolution by the appropriate agency or forum of existing boundary disputes or cases involving questions of territorial jurisdiction between the City of Gapan and the adjoining local government units.
