Section 11(a) of Republic Act No. 8508, otherwise known as the Charter of the City of Antipolo is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 11. The Sangguniang Panlungsod. - (a) The Sangguniang Panlungsod, the legislative body of the City, shall be composed of the following: the city vice mayor as presiding officer; the sixteen (16) regular sanggunian members who shall be elected by district, eight (8) of which shall represent the First District of Antipolo and the other eight (8) shall represent the Second District of Antipolo; the president of the city chapter of the liga ng mga barangay; the president of the panlungsod na pederasyon ng mga sangguniang kabataan; and the sectoral representatives.
