Progressive Application. - The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), upon advise of the Board and in coordination with other concerned agencies, shall adopt a progressive application of all kinds of measuring equipment. Government and private institutions with existing measurement system and equipment not in conformity with the standards and controls herein prescribed are given a period of one (1) year comply with the provisions of this Act.
