Penalties. - Any person who violates any provision of this Act shall be penalized by imprisonment of not less than two (2) months but not more than one (1) year or fine of not less than Five thousand pesos (Php 5,000.00) nor more than Fifty thousand pesos (Php 50,000.00) or both upon the discretion of the court: Provided, however, That if the violator is a corporation, firm, partnership or association, the penalty shall be imposed upon the president or the manager or any officer thereof who knows or ought to have known the commission of the offense: Provided, finally, That in case of the offender is an alien engaged in business in the country, his licensed shall be revoked and shall be ipso facto deported after service of sentence without need of further proceedings.
