Integration/Establishment. - There is hereby established a state university in the Province of Southern Leyte to be known as the Southern Leyte State University, hereinafter referred to as the University, by integrating the Southern Leyte State College of Science and Technology in the Municipality of Tomas Oppus, both located in the Province of Southern Leyte. The main campus of the University shall be in Sogod, Southern Leyte.
