The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS). - The National Meat Inspection Commission renamed as the National Meat Inspection Service (NM1S) shall serve as the sole national controlling authority on all matters pertaining to meat and meat product inspection and meat hygiene. It shall be a specialized regulatory service attached to the Department of Agriculture.
