Office of Tourism Coordination. - Recognizing that increased linkages are necessary between various government offices and the private sector and among the various entities in the private sector itself to properly implement tourism policy, the Office of Tourism Coordination shall have the following functions:
(a) Maintain close coordination with national government agencies, LGUs, NGOs and other private entities for the development and implementation of national tourism plans and policies;
(b) Call upon the assistance and support of any or all of the government agencies in the implementation of the policies of the Department; and
(c) Support the private sector in all tourism activities
