Investigation and Inquiries. - Upon a written formal complaint made under oath, which on its face provides reasonable basis to believe that some anomaly or irregularity may have been committed within TEZs, the TIEZA Chief Operating Officer shall have the power to inquire into and investigate the conduct of TEZ operators, registered enterprises and/or their employees. For this purpose, he or she may subpoena witnesses, administer oaths and compel the production of books, papers and other evidence. The TIEZA Chief Operating Officer shall thereafter make a recommendation to the TIEZA Board for appropriate action.
