These Rules shall take effect immediately upon publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation and shall remain in force until amended or repealed. A copy of these Rules shall be posted on the official website of the Senate of the Philippines. (Adopted by the Senate on March 23, 2011 as Resolution No. 39. The Senate amended its impeachment rules in 2025, including provisions on who may preside over the trial; consult the Senate for the latest amended text.)
