The LUMC, through its Board of Trustees, is hereby authorized to increase and hire additional employees corresponding to the upgrading of its services and facilities and increase in bed capacity. The Chief of Hospital of the LUMC shall coordinate with the Department of Health,, the Department of Budget and Management and the Civil Service Commission for the efficient and effective implementation of this Act.
